Bob Mansfield is a Vice President
and founding partner of SAFERjett. He has been with the
company since 2001. Bob is responsible for training
operations, regulatory compliance of products and customer
support. He has also been placed in charge of VLJ client
relations for the training center initiative at Alliance
Field, TX.
Mr. Mansfield
graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1986. Following
graduation, he was sent to Undergraduate Pilot Training in Phoenix, AZ. He then flew the F-16 for four years, including deployments to Germany, Canada,
and numerous stateside locations. With over 1,000 hours of flight time
in the F-16, he was a qualified mission commander and a
certified single-seat nuclear delivery pilot.
Following
his F-16 assignment, Mr. Mansfield was an instructor pilot in the T-38
and served as an assistant flight commander, supervising the other
instructors in his flight. He was also a qualified safety officer and a
graduate of the USAF accident investigation school.
Mr.
Mansfield separated from active duty in 1993. He was employed as a
first officer, and eventually a captain on the DC-9 with ValuJet
airlines.
In 1995, Mr. Mansfield moved to the Denver
area and was hired by a major air carrier. He has type ratings in the
DC-9, A320 and B737. Mr. Mansfield has vast instructor
and administrator experience in military, commercial and
civil operations. He has flown over 9000 accident
free hours in over 25 years of flight. |
