Paul Hinton is the Chief Executive
Officer of SAFERjett. Mr. Hinton accepted the position of
CEO and partner in 2006. Paul is responsible for all
strategic initiatives, decisions and direction at SAFERjett.
Mr. Hinton graduated from the United
States Air Force Academy in 1961 and attended Undergraduate Pilot
Training at Williams Air Force Base, AZ. Following pilot training
he flew both transport and fighter aircraft in the USAF. His
various assignments included work in Europe, Africa, South America, the
Far East and Vietnam.
He separated from the USAF in 1966 and
was hired by American Airlines. Mr. Hinton also continued to
serve in the New York Air National Guard. He has flown the BAC11,
B707, B727, B757, B767, DC10, MD80, A300 and B777. He has over
20,000 accident free flying hours.
Mr. Hinton has over 40 years of
aviation training experience. He served as a Check Airman,
Examiner, Fleet Manager and Chief Pilot for International Operations
during his 33 year tenure with American Airlines.
Upon his retirement from American in
2000, Mr. Hinton joined Flight Safety Boeing. In 2001, he was promoted
to Vice President International Operations. He was promoted to
Vice President Aviation Training for the Boeing company Alteon in
2002. In that position, Mr. Hinton was responsible for all flight
and technical training programs, instructional materials development,
simulator acquisitions and upgrade, instructors and government
affairs for 22 training centers worldwide. He retired from
Boeing/Alteon in 2006.
