Scott
Shutack is the President of SAFERjett.
He is also a founding partner in SAFERjett and has
been with the company since its inception in
1999. Scott is responsible for strategic
execution, business development and industry relationships. He is also responsible for the VLJ training center initiative at Alliance Field, TX.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from the USAF Academy
in 1987, Scott was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the USAF. A
Distinguished Graduate of Undergraduate Pilot Training, Williams AFB,
Arizona, he remained assigned to Williams AFB, AZ where he held
positions as a Standards and Evaluations Pilot, Assistant Operations
Officer and Squadron Military Training Officer. Mr. Shutack moved to
Grissom AFB in November 1991 where he continued as an Instructor Pilot
in Standards and Evaluations. Scott flew for Air National Guard units
in Illinois, Hawaii and Arizona from November 1992 to January 1998.
Mr.
Shutack is a commercial pilot for a major airline with over 9000
accident free flying hours. Previously, Scott was an U.S. Air Force
Evaluator and Instructor Pilot.
Most
recently, Mr. Shutack has flown as a B737 Captain and trained
B-747 Captains, First Officers and Flight Engineers as a Pilot
Instructor. He is type rated in the A320, B707, B720, B737, B747 and
B777. He is a Quality Assurance (QA) Instructor Pilot. Mr.
Shutack is also the founder of Leading Edge Enterprises, LLC,
which has created safety programs that are being applied across a
wide range of industries to include healthcare, aviation, public
service and governmental agencies.
